Capacitive Touch Panel Technology
Capacitive touch panel is a four-storey glass screen surface and
laminated within the glass screen is coated with a layer of ITO,
the outermost layer is a thin layer of silica glass, laminated ITO
coating as a face, four electrode leads in the four corners, inner
ITO good shielding to ensure a good working environment.

How does a Capacitive Touchscreen Work?
Capacitive touch screens are built with a thin layer of conductive material, such as copper or Indium Tin Oxide (ITO), printed onto the underside of the display's insulating outer layer. When a finger touches the screen, a small electrical charge is drawn to the point of contact, which effectively becomes a functioning capacitor. The resulting change in the electrostatic field is then measured to pinpoint where the contact took place.
Projected Capacitive touchscreens are used on the vast majority of
smartphones and tablets. PCap screens consist of a layer of glass,
a matrix of electrodes and a protective film. The matrix of
electrodes creates a three dimensional electrostatic field that
registers even the slightest change in electrical current. So, when
a conductive object, such as your finger or a stylus, comes into
contact with the matrix of electrodes, the electric field is
changed slightly, and the screen registers your touch.
